Has read in Halifax, Toronto, Montreal, Brampton, and Parry Sound, formersponsored by NSWF, four latter readings by CC and/or Metro Toronto. Has appeared on the TV show, "Motions in Poetry" in Toronto. Has performedin the Cabaret at the '94 AGM heldjointly by LCP and PUC in Winnipeg.Has been heard on Susan Helwig's "In Other Words" on CKLN Radio inToronto. Has read & shown art in Copenhagen, Denmark at HeatherSpears' Upper Canada Gallery and at the West Parry Sound District Museum, and her poems will be set tomusic and mounted at the international Festival of the Sound insummer 1997 or 1998.Is a full member of the League ofCanadian Poets, the Canadian PoetryAssociation, and Canada PEN. Was on the Executive Council of the NSWF before moving to Ontario.
A musician Composer's HOME PAGE who put Kathy's set of Parry Sound Poems "Quartzite Dialogues" to music and was performed at the "Festival of the Sound" here in Parry Sound on 24th, July 1999 on an Island in Georgian Bay, and then performed on the outer deck of the West Parry Sound District Museum on July 25, 1999. Both concerts were sold-out; the one on the 25th was the first event of the Festival to be sold out.
